The perspective in this picture is great. I love her facial expression as well.

Really a lovely painting. I came and looked around your gallery because of Future-Art-Mag And I really liked what I saw. Keep up the great work.

Critique Night: Well actually I am liking this a lot; the perspective on this type of view from above is difficult, I think the arms in the foreshortening and in the rest of the body in general are not quite right; watch your anatomy when you're doing this type of work to be sure that the objects farther away are the right size. I think the hands and arms seem slightly too big when it gets down to the wrist area. As far as the light goes, the light on the figure is too bright for the environment; this is okay if she is a fairy and is generating her own light, but you need to have her effect the environment then with her own light to make this apparent. Otherwise, I'd reduce the highlights and bring the colors more close to the environment... instead of reds for her skin tones, try maybe some yellower tones, warm up her complexion, and she will feel more tied into the space.
